Job Description
We are seeking a motivated individual eager to gain hands-on machining experience and expand their technical skills. This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. You’ll work in a clean, organized shop environment alongside experienced machinists who will help you develop the skills to operate and maintain 3-axis CNC milling machines.
Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level 3-Axis CNC Machinist, you will train to perform the following:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines according to setup sheets and job specifications, with guidance from senior machinists.
- Load tooling, tip off tools, and enter offsets into machine controls.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet blueprint requirements.
- Maintain and clean your machine on a daily basis.
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the lead machinist or supervisor.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in machining/manufacturing.
- Good math skills, including basic geometry and measurement.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 6am-5pm
- Saturdays as required
Pay
- $25 per hour
